Some of my personal favorite trout fishing websites and blogs
Making a great blog about fishing is time consuming and often goes unnoticed by most people who stop by to read them. A few years ago I set out t make a large website about how to fly fish for trout, but I didn't have time to keep it up. So with that in mind, I have decided to make a short list outlining some great reading material about trout fishing here. Since I don't have time to make my own constantly updated blog, I will honor those who are dedicated enough to continuously bring us all great content.
My favorite Trout Blogs and websites are:
Trout Underground: This guy is a good writer and keeps his website up to date. He has been doing it a long time and has a huge list of articles and blog posts to read about fly fishing. He also seems to have a large loyal following.
Troutster.com: This website/blog has a pretty large quantity of information. It has everything you could want to learn about fly fishing for trout and information about individual trout species. He posted a really good informative article about fly floatants recently that is worth reading.
Orvis.com blog: These guys seem to have a steady stream of blog posts available. If it happens in the flyfishing world you can probably read about it here.
Troutnut.com: This guy is an entomology student and has an insane amount of high quality images of mayflies and other aquatic insects. If you ever have a question about a specific fly, he probably has a page all about it. Troutnut also has a pretty good active forum that can be entertaining.
Gink and Gasoline: This is a good site that you should visit on occasion. They have accumulated a lot of great information and blogposts that are worth taking a look at.
Leave us some feedback using the contact form above if we missed and great blogs and websites you think we should know about. I would be happy to include them.
